Telkom Pay mPOS allows your customers to quickly and securely pay you by tapping their card or device on your NFC enabled phone. Or generate a QR code for your customers to Scan and Pay. You can also pay QR codes or make payments with your virtual card.
With Telkom Pay mPOS you dont need a bank account to receive and make payments; manage your money in your Telkom Pay Wallet. You also dont need to be a Telkom customer to use the app; it works on all network providers.
Telkom Pay mPOS is perfect for small informal businesses. No need to be a registered private company (Pty) Ltd, a sole proprietor or a non-profit (NPC). Add your business details and logo (optional) and start receiving payments from customers.
Sign up is easy. Verify your identity through a KYC (Know Your Customer) process for your safety. This process can be done on your phone, with no paperwork or branch visits required. You will be asked to upload your South African identity document, valid passport or drivers license. If you are not a South African citizen, you can upload your valid foreign passport or asylum document. Next, you will be asked to take a selfie with a thumbs up to compare to the image on the document you have just uploaded. Verification is instant, and if successful, you will be able to start transacting immediately.

• Easily create a pre-paid virtual card for online payments
• Top up your card from your main Telkom Pay Wallet
• Make a withdrawal by moving money back to your main Telkom Pay wallet
• Temporarily disable your card
• Or permanently cancel your card
Wallet:
• Receive money and make payments from your wallet
• Make withdrawals to your bank account through an EFT bank transfer
• Top up your wallet by making an EFT bank transfer
Transaction history:
• View all payments made or received
• View any transactions still in progress
